Name changed to The Bedford since my visit, and target market changed from families to students. This, it seems, has not worked out financially.

Large pub with the familiar family food pub set up. Nothing to distinguish it from any of the others. Three cask pumps, but only two beers on offer on my visit.
Cheap food all day, with attention paid to veggies. Music not too loud. Several TV screens focussed on sport. Bog standard place. You've been here before many times, all that's different is the location.
